Genesis Charity Concert with Ronan O'Hora in support of the Neonatology Unit of “Marie Curie” Hospital. The Genesis Foundation organizes a charitable concert on November 25th in the Mihail Jora Hall of the Romanian Radio Society.

The event consists of an extraordinary piano recital by renowned British pianist Ronan OHora, who was the first time in Romania. The funds obtained from the sale of the tickets will be donated to the Neonatology Intensive Care Unit of the “Marie Curie” Hospital in Bucharest for the purchase of a device that detects deafness in the neonatal phase. The initiative to organize this concert is part of a larger series of projects that the Genesis Foundation has done over time and have persuaded the development of children on educational and cultural level, as well as the contribution to ensure optimum conditions in medical units specialized in child care. The event benefits from the full support of Ronan OHora, who offered to donate the entire fee for the concert held in Bucharest, in support of the Neonatology Unit of the “Marie Curie” Hospital in Bucharest. We want the Mihail Jora Hall to be full of people who love music and children on the 25th of November, and who cannot remain indifferent to the problems faced by the Romanian health system, especially when it comes to the lack of medical equipment needed to care for the young, said Ioana Nicula, President of the Genesis Foundation. We would like to prove once again that solidarity and compassion are the basic values ​​of the Romanian society, added Ioana Nicula. We are glad to reap the support of the Genesis Foundation in an attempt to endorse the “Marie Curie” Hospital, this time with medical devices that give babies born with auditory problems an extra chance for a normal life, "said Dr. Catalin Cirstoveanu, head of the Neonatology Unit of the “Marie Curie” Hospital. The Genesis Foundation in Bucharest, founded in 2000, includes Genesis Kindergarten and Genesis School with grades I-VIII, both accredited by the Ministry of Education and Research, alongside the Foreign Languages ​​School and the Genesis Cultural Centre. The mission of the Genesis Foundation is to develop and sustain an educational environment at the standards of excellence, to promote authenticity, respect for culture and socio-cultural values ​​and, last but not least, to contribute to the full development of the child's potential. Ronan OHora is one of the most acclaimed British pianists. The artist has performed recitals and has been acclaimed in almost all countries in Europe, but also in America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. OHora has performed concerts with first-class conductors, along with some of the most famous symphonic orchestras in the world: the London Philharmonic, the BBC Symphony Orchestra, the English Chamber Orchestra, the Florida Philharmonic, and the Queensland Philharmonic. His discography currently comprises over thirty albums recorded.
